John has worked in the advertising and production
industry for over twenty plus years. As a director of
photography he has shot hundereds of commercials for
local agencies and tv stations, receiving numerous local
and nationally coveted awards including the Pele, AIMA
and Telly Award for long and short format features and
commercials.
John has produced cross media campaigns for the Hawaii
Department of Housing and Urban Development, "The Door"
with Frank Delima. For the past 5 years, John has shot
and edited "Ohana Road," a 30-minute magazine program
which airs twice a week on KITV, Hawaii's ABC affiliate,
as well as live directing “NightTime with Andy Bumatai”, airing on K-5 and on the CW network from August 07 to May 08.
John is currently developing a pilot for a Mixed Martial
Arts reality show featuring Egan Inoue and X-1 fighters
for national syndication. |
